For those of us born in the 40s and 50s, this is the music we grew up with, probably the music our parents fell in love to. Beside the fact that these are all good compositions, performed by the stars that made them popular, the music would make a great addition to social studies classes. Or,share with young people as you tell them what your life was like when you recall hearing these songs.

A nice collection of 30 quiet and nostalgic songs. I own the 3 others sets, which I like as well.

Most of these songs are a little on the slow side, but are all good classics. Just make sure you have a cup of coffee before you listen!
